The Art of Compairing  

The Compere is also called  master of Ceremonies or an anchor. he/ She is a person whose job is to conduct show on Stage, television, Redio etc. Compere introduces the Programme and the Participants. He/ She the Mediator, Announcer and Coordinator of the events.

For preparing a Script you must Remember Following Points-

1) Compere is formal Host and Facilitator of an event.

2) Compere is to Stimulate an interest in the Crowd.

3) He/ she has to glorify the performance of all with Positive Comments and appreciation.

4) He/she has to ensure the enthusiasm among the viewers with Active Response in the Form of applause and interaction.  

5) He/she has to master the Skill of Co-ordination. Finally Compere must not forget that the most important thing is to keep the audience engaged.
